i have applied and been refused dla too ! i really don't know what to do now ! my gp says i am not fit for work !

It is worth trying again and seeing if you can get some help to fill in the forms, you can ask your GP about that or visit your citizens advice which is what I did.

I applied for DLA was turned down and went to appeal which was horrid and I lost that as well then six months later a friend told me to apply again I did and was awarded both care and mobility strait away so don't give up it's worth sticking with it.

I was turned down on my first attemt and appeal so i waited about 6 months and reapplied but this time i asked my Dr to fill his part in with me there and i made sure he wrote down everything and was awarded DLA on his paper work the Drs have so much to do and so many forms to fill in they get in the habit of writing as little as possible and they forget that everything needs recording exactly for the DLA . keep at it you will get it eventualy x

Citizens advice filled mine in and I was awarded care component. If you are over 50 Age Concern will help too

just answer the questions like you are having a bad day . And remember they are paid to trip you up . Make sure that you get someone else to take you . And most of all good luck x X
