ESA home visit this week can anyone tell me what to expect?

I have been informed by letter that a Doctor is coming to carry out a medical this week, I am migrating from IB to ESA. I have a collection of ailments but Fibromylagia, Rhumatoid arthritis and prolapsed discs are the main ones. Not sure what to expect please help if anyone can, many thanks XH

I dunno abt home visits.but its general memory quests.they asl you wot you do daily and how you manage.show them all yre medications,they will carry out a medical on you i.e legs,arms etc.

They may watch everything you do from opening the door etc.

They may try and think your lying and try and catch you out by repeating same quests differently.

Tell them every day is a bad day.and be honest abt yre pain.etc.

This type of visit is more stressful when you worry about it... just be yourself and tell them how it is...every day can be a bad day... so be honest to yourself about the pain...

mine just came round and talked! no physical etc, just question etc really relaxed xx

Mine was such a horror that I ended up at a tribunal and even there they said he must have taken against me. I was awarded DLA despite him.

Sorry to hear it was so awful, but you got your award in the end. I am dreading next week the stress of this one is bound to have a backlash, will let you know how it goes, I havent slept all week, so will be glad when it is over. \thank you for your support sorry typing is rubish XH
