How many people have other diagnosis aswell as fibro?

I have underactive thyroid, Fibro, CFS/ME, Hypermobility syndrome and asthma does anyone else have this concoction of diagnosis?

I know what you mean about auto immune, My family on both sides have so many different auto immune diseases its like a unlucky dip for me which one was i going to pull out lol xxx

Hi Jazher,I have scoliosis,chronic spinal arthritis,ibs,rls,reynouds,hypothyroidism,Sjogrens(auto immune)problems with sacro iliac nerves,migraines,uti`s,(I`m boring myself now lol)actualy I am going to stop there before I scare myself I try not to think too much about.And greet each new dawn with it`s new pains as a complete pain in the rear.Hugs to ypu Butterfly54

I too get bored with all my diagnosises lol.

Its unbelivable that we can have so many problems at the same time isnt it, i feel like a hyperchondriact somedays lol.

YES I HAVE HAD THE SAME DIAGNOSIS ALL EXCPET ATHSMA.

THE HYPERMOBILITY ONE WAS A SHOCKER THOUGH, NEVER IN MY LIFE HAD I BEEN TOLD OR SHOWN ANY SIGNS OF BEING DOUBLE JOINTED. WAS MAD AS HELL WHEN I GOT THAT DIAGNOSIS RECENTLY FROM A RHUMATOLOGIST.

The hypermobility was a shocker too me too, only two weeks ago i got told that by an immunologist. It makes total sense with my legs, as i thought i had MS and no one was explaining to me why my legs are like they are, so i was really mad until i seen this immunolgist and he was lovely and he explained everything.

I have never seen a rhumatologist as my gp took it upon herself dx fibro, but i knew there was something else and she wouldnt have it.

Why would a doctor dx us with fibro then another say it is made up, it makes me so mad.

THE SAME RHUMATOLOGIST ALSO REMARKED TO HER STUDENT WHO WAS PRESENT AT THE TIME THE "FYBROMYALGIA WAS ONE OF THOSE MADE UP SYNDROMS FROM THE ROYAL COLLAGE". I HAD WAITED YEARS TO GET TO SEE A RHUMATOLOGIST AND WAS FURIOUS BY THIS COMMENT.
