Does anyone live in the North of Scotland? Do you know what it's like to get a carer in the area ?

Hi I'm Dawn,I'm thinking of moving the North of Scotland nr Wick but I'm heavily dependant on carers currently.

Does anyone know if they have a network of carers ?

Hello Dawn....Scotland is a beautiful country and we lived there for 12 years. y husband needed a carree

r to give e respite but the fors we filled inn said....not available in your area. We libed in the south about 4 iles fro the county town but social serbices could not provide help.

I think if you are looking to ove sei rural and do need significant help then think very carefully.

We moved abroad 8 yrs ago and care was bad then goodness how bad ut is now.

Might be worthwhile contacting the local authority for info and advice where you're thinking of moving to.

As far as I know it would be a referral through them to social care services to allocate a care package with an external provider if they're not able to take it on themselves.

Jon managed to lance my cyst. I've only had it over 2 years🤔. I'm pleased with the results.
