Managed my flare up

I posted in November regarding my massive flare up which made me feel miserable. I felt as if my life all be it with Fibro was over. I blamed myself which it isn’t. I have read a lot of your replies and posts and they have helped enormously so thankyou. My GP changed me from fluoxetine to miratazapine and it’s made such a difference. I am sleeping now which before I wasn’t even though I had my fluoxetine increased in november as I couldn’t face changing medication at that time. I have more energy and generally feel much more positive. Just wanted to let you all know that sometimes change does work. Take care all my fellow worriers you have all made a difference to me and how I feel.

Hello, I am so pleased you are doing better , it makes all the difference and sometimes the GP changing our meds can work out better. Sleep is so important and that can make so much difference to a person (I know any bad nights makes me grumpy )I do think it makes us feel more positive chatting here as we are all in this big unwanted club together. Looking out of the window the bulbs are coming up and in a few weeks when Spring is here that can also have a postive effect on us all. Xx

I am so glad that you're feeling a bit better about life. It's hard when having a flare up of pain to stay positive. I often have times when I feel so sorry for myself and although we know that it won't last forever, at the time it feels like it will.
