Reading your posts has made me a little happier about not being alone! I have fibro quite bad and I also have had arthritis sine my early teens.
I have been diagnoesed with several types of arthritis which cripple my life .
Arthritis in hands and feet
Spondylitis In my neck
Degenerate disc disease in three discs in my bottom back.
Tietzes syndrome In chest ribs and collar bones
And a little scholiosis . All since mid teens.
TMJ Face and jaw.
Fibro Which seems to affect my right side allot more than left.
I now suffer with TMD arthritis in my jaw and my dental surgeon had now dismissed my case as he cannot help me anymore as it is RD so I have been turned down for a prosthetic jaw. I'm loosing teeth by the wk as my bone around my teeth shrinks. For the last few years I've lost the will to carry on especially as my pain surgeon seem not to be bothered on a regular basis to even turn up to his surgeries , so I had to make a complaint about the only man that is meant to help me !!!
I've suffered bad with depression the last few years that hasn't helped my situation. So the only thing that keeps me hanging on is its going to take me three years to pay off my funeral.
At least reading all your posts made me feel good . If the cure doesn't happen in my life time it's good to know that it will make a difference to thousands of others stuck with fibro.

Hi Lu thank you for your reply , like I said life felt lonely untill I read the posts on here, I find it hard to admit I have fibro, and all docs give you that look as soon as you say you have it ! You know that raised eyebrow look that spells out OH NO NOT ANOTHER ONE.
I never again want to discuss my ailments with my own Docs as she is a believer that all these symptoms are in my mind.
I went to a different hospital in the beginning and the consultant discharged me thinking a had a gynological problem telling me I'd be best seeking advice from a GU clinic !
This was after I had been to Bupa and in 20mins of being at Bupa I was diagnosed with fibro , which my doctor threw in the bin my doc stated they do Not take on outside information.
Hi TMdsufferer45 Welcome to our wonderful forum 😀 I'm sure you will find it invaluable chatting to others who have similar experiences and at different stages of their lives with fibromyalgia.
I'm sorry you are feeling so fed up with it all, its really not easy is it ? I'm a bit like you and have osteoarthritis, polymyalgia, fibromyalgia & degenerative nerve damage in my spine & feet. My hands, feet, back & hips tend to constantly hurt, sometimes worse than others, so I know how you feel my friend & your really not on your own
I see our lovely BlueMermaid3 has given a bit of advice which I can't add to. I just wanted to say hi and welcome & look forward to chatting to you on the forum.
Peace, luv n light

Welcome to the forum. I have quite a few of the problems you have so can empathise. You will find any in the forum have multiple illnesses it actually seems quite rare for anyone to have fibro in isolation.
I had treatment at a Pain Clinic for 6 years but that suddenly ceased last year when the Pain specialist retired and they didn't get a replacement which meant all his outreach surgeries ceased.
My GP does believe in fibro but the problem is if you go with anything they tend to think straight away it is fibro related rather than making further investigations as they would with a patient that didn't have the illness.
So many of us have problems with our jaw and have had teeth that have rapidly deteriorated since having fibro as though we haven't got enough to contend with.
Do come on and share with us as sometimes just typing our problems out a d knowing like minded people are reading it can help immensely. Look forward to your future posts.x
