Circulation/or menopause

Used Estradiol gel for last 5 years but suddenly introduced estradiol patch a few weeks ago as symptoms got a lot worse only once and had a bad allergic reaction within 12 hours. The sweats are not too much of an issue but my circulation is very poor. I am very cold to the bone most of the time, night and day and my heating bill is not liking it neither. Any suggestions would be much appreciated please.

Hi Rose, you seem to be having a lot going on. May I suggest you have a word with your GP. Not everything is fibromyalgia. If what your feeling is new to you it's always best to get it checked out IMO

I didn't get on with HRT patches as I started getting a slight rash under the patches and the sweats continued suggesting that I wasn't absorbing the hormones so my Dr transferred me onto Oestrogel which is one of the fairly new "body identical" HRT treatments. I use 3 pumps a day (2 morning and 1 evening) and I feel so much better. Whilst I still have Fibro the aches aren't as bad as they were. It may be worth checking if your HRT is one of the newer forms. Everyone is different so it may be worth a Dr consultation and asking to try a different gel or patch.
