Ok so can't even have a comforting hug now AHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am in so much pain right now all over my partner can't even give me a hug to make me feel better AHHHH!!!! i am so fed right now got stress from the housing benefit people today who left until 4pm to call so could not even get down there to sort it out so now got to stress over that all weekend which is going to cause my already painful flare up to rise to an even higher height so thanks to them for that . oh well on a lighter note perhaps i will win the lottery on saturday night what do you think dont anyone else on here buy a ticket and then i will have a better chance lol. Only joking hope if your in it you will win it we all deserve a break. Sorry about that rant i am just at my absolute limit tonight i dont think i can cope with anything else today so lets hope between now and 11 when i drag myself up the stairs for another sleepless night nothing else happens. Right thats it mask on and now going to sit and wait for my partner to come and watch deal or no deal and coach trip and what ever else is on . and tomorrow is another day so lets hope its a good one for us all. have a lovely evening everyone and lots of love and soft hugs to you all (apart from me lol) Diddle xxxxx

Ah Diddle, HB are soooo good at that . They time their letters to arrive on a Saturday too , just so you can't sort anything cos they're closed and then worry all weekend . I'm sure they do it deliberately.

If you're winning the lottery can I get my begging letter in first... ?

Hi Diddle - I know you are off watching tv now, but I get that too. I often can't have my boyfriend anywhere near me because I either am in too much pain or just need to constantly move around.

Let's hope tomorrow is a good, low pain, high energy day for us all but then none of us will be able to fully enjoy it as we'd pay for it, lol.

I cant bear to have anyone touch me, my partner cant even hug me in bed.

This is one thing that gets to me about fibro. My cats cannot even sit on my knee most days too.

I just feel so alone sometimes and just need a big hug but i know it will hurt and make me feel more uncomfortable.

Have you tried hugging your partner instead of the other way round. Sounds strange but you will get the same feeling of closeness and comfort but with less pain than if you were being hugged. It also raises seratonin in your brain and makes you feel good.

Would the cats sit next to you to be petted instead of on your lap, my dog likes to sprawl across me when I'm not on my laptop, but she knows when the pain is bad and lies next to me. When I have had facet joint injections, she lies with her spine next to my spine keeping it warm and safe. I don't even feel her get on the bed, she isn't normally allowed on my bed because she is too bouncy...

Sometimes it's a case of making adjustments to what makes us feel good, instead of stopping.
