cold all the time

I feel cold all the time. Even in the warm weather, I still need a hot water bottle especially for my feet. It’s bad circulation. I get cold shivers every so often. Air con is the worst for me on holidays. Airplanes are the worst! I have to wear so many clothes and then feel claustrophobic but still shivering and cold.

Hu, I am the same, think my thermostat is broken lol, quite a few of us suffer with this.

Ah the dreaded WTS (wonky thermostat syndrome). Happens to many of us I'm afraid. I also have reynauds and in the cold my hands and feet are blue/purple. No answers really other than thermal socks and gloves and underwear!

I have this too, seems quite common with Fibromyalgia: I also can’t handle heat. I have read that Fibromyalgia affects the autonomic nervous system which seems very plausible as I like others have POTS as well.

Me too. I use rechargeable handwarmers. Brilliant little things! I take one to bed instead of a hot water bottle as on the low setting the heat lasts all night. One in both cost pockets in winter works wonders.

I know that feeling all too well; I often describe myself as a lizard because I can't control my body temperature,,I use a rechargeable hot water bottle as it's much easier than constantly getting up to reboil water in a kettle, especially when you're feeling weak or can't get out of bed, as you just plug it in and it stays hot for ages.

Thermals are great too. If it's tight clothing that makes you feel claustrophobic too you could always try an Oodie (or a cheaper brand, they sell them in places like Primark or online) which is basically a big fluffy hoodie. They're so good for keeping warm and personally I find them really comfortable. I also recommend looking at what people wear or do in colder parts of the world, as it might give you ideas on some more things that you wouldn't have thought of before, though make sure to check it's safe and comfortable for you.

It might be worth checking to see what your blood iron levels are like, you can get iron supplements like ferrous sulphate, and hopefully that'll help a little as well?

Best of luck, I hope some of this helped!

I have found that my circulation has improved and my feeling of cold feet at night has reduced, using a combination of supplements and a grounding sheet on my bed, the supplements that seem to help are omega 3, B3, ginko biloba, Magnesium taurate, ginger and nattokinase, they have the effects of improving blood flow amongst other things, before trying them, it would be a good idea to check the interactions with any other supplements or drugs that you are taking.
