My rule is to see a doctor if I have a new symptom. It could be fibromyalgia but always best to get it checked out to rule out other conditions.

I'm sorry to hear that 🙁, but I still think you should give them a call.

I can relate to the feeling of a hard lump between the shoulder blades. It can feel like a piece of hot coal, an intense burning sensation. I believe its just another symptom of Fibro, one of the 'tender points' around the body that flare up.

You should check with your GP (if you can get an appointment) as not everything is Fibro.

Sorry too read that experience made you feel anxious, we all get anxious about things (I certainly do as I have a dental appointment coming up and I get more than knotted up) my shoulder blades are the one place that ache all the time, I am using a rub in Cannabi cream I ordered and it really does give me relief , also I use it on other places as well like my lower back and wretched knee that giving awful pain with arthritis. I always speak too my pharmacist if I try anything new as on medication . It’s okay too moan we need too for sure and let it out. Is this doctor one you see all the time ? We see someone different all the time at our surgery now. I had a White spot on my tonsil which must have got slightly bigger because every time I swallowed I could then feel it , this doctor said too me ohh it’s a spot you seem anxious, I went too ENT and turned out it was a tonsil cyst , which he removed , sometimes I feel some doctors (not all) don’t seem interested in what we have too say , take care .
