Fibro Flare

Having a serious weather related Fibro flare. Started yesterday when a storm front moved in. Put me in bed in the afternoon and it’s still hanging around today ; headache, neck and shoulder pain and shaky legs. 😶‍🌫️.

Thanks for letting me vent.

Is it the cold or damp that is worse or do they both make it bad for you?

Both plus wind.

I’m troubled because it seems to take longer than it used to to recover from a Flare; because I’m older? Or is it something else? I’m taking a lot longer to get over this last one. I’m in bed at much earlier times, for instance. Any advice?

I'm really sorry for you. I am experiencing much the same, also weather related I think. All good wishes and here's hoping we improve soon!!

Also, balance issues during a flare. Anyone else?

I have balance issues most days.

Maybe things get worse due to getting older...

Hi ratoncita,

My main issue with the weather are cold, wind, dampness and rain. All can be the perfect combination trigger for severe flare ups 😥. This is in addition to experiencing severe brain fog, dizziness and balance problems.

I hope you get better soon.

Take Care 🤗

Happy to hear I’m not the only one who has balance issues.
