I’m learning that not only can I not handle cold but, can’t handle heat either! So happy we have AC. I’ve not been outside today except to water some plants on the deck. It’s 45 C out there on the south side. A few degrees cooler on the north side. Also, I’m also keeping the doors, windows and curtains closed.
How is everyone else doing?

You are not the only one who is like this, I am having to adjust my life to cope with all this. My hands are so hot when in bed and my legs cold it is causing me to loose sleep and I am a carer for a man who is bed ridden 24 7 unless I get him out of bed for his exercise. Well today he is not going to be getting out as my fybro is chronic so he is throwing a tantrum and has called the police.
Hi Ratoncita, I'm not sure what's worse. Heat or cold? I'm absolutely dreading the next few days here in London. Have already changed an appointment to avoid having to go out there today. Think I've got a problem with temperature regulation along with all the other joys this condition brings. Will be melting like an 🍦 by the afternoon.
I live in north-west England and we haven’t had any heat at all this year. I’m really dreading winter though. I didn’t used to mind it but now I’m stuck at home so much it’s awful. I can’t tolerate the cold anymore and I’m terrified of slipping and falling when it gets frosty.
Horrid, been awful last couple days and making me feel worse as extreme temperatures. Im armed with a fan , cold head band. Wet tea towel around my neck 🤣says 22degrees Sunday that’s better 😃x
Oh, how I can relate to what you have posted! I tell people my Internal Thermostat is broken! Winters are too cold and summers too hot, The winds cut right through me and the rain makes me stiff!
Same ratoncita! Heat and cold trigger flares. So I too am indoors with curtains closed but I have all windows and doors open for the breezes. I have a fan in the living room and 1 in the bedroom and they help me to cool down.
I am unable to do anything due to the fibromyalgia flare but I'm enjoying the Summer by reading and playing my favourite music - reggae, soul and Tamla Motown! Yay! I have lots of ice lollies and ice pops in the fridge along with my fruit. And I have sliced lemons and ice cubes ready for my water so I don't dehydrate.
I'm on holiday in 2 weeks and the hotel has a pool, so I will get in the water if I have the strength, even if I'm not well enough to have a swim. Love water, so happy days to all in spite of fibro xx
