abroad heat
I find the travelling hard but once I laze in the heat after a few days I feel good. Gentle movements in the water (not swimming) can also be relaxing. I am sure you will have a great time
I'm actually abroad just now, the change in my health with the heat has been amazing. Back home Saturday so not looking forward to that. You have a great relaxing holiday x
I went on my own to puerto de la cruz and I got home 2 days ago. The heat helps definitely but I didn't research properly and went to a seriously hilly place so found myself staying at the hotel. The pain was still there but not so intense. Since being home I have definitely noticed an increase so the heat must do something to help.I am definitely going to make it a yearly thing in December
I'm in Tenerife at the moment, temperature in the low 20's, it certainly does wonders for my pain. Also a lovely heated pool, which helps too. I have Special assistance at the airports, no standing in long queues. I'm sure you'll be fine and enjoy your holiday.
Hi Dolphin21Lots of ŕeplies about the positive effects of sunnier places. I went on a cruise a few years ago and found the distraction wonderful. Lots to do in easy distance.
I hope you have a wonderful time.
On our boat the Doctor gave talks on health with Lots of good tips on chronic health conditions.
Enjoy the boat and the warmth

Hi Dolphin 21 , yes I'm sure you will be a different person on a cruise , everything is on one level and lots of lifts to higher floors .Not having to cook clean etc is a godsend to me.
A word of advice stick to the resteraunts for food as you have to que at the buffets.
Enjoy

I suffer from agoraphobia so I couldn't do what you're going to and I think you're amazing. Please try not to nail out because I think you will have a wonderful time and feel even better for the achievement. Go you! And I hope the heat feels like the biggest cuddle that doesn't have to be gentle because you'll feel so much better. Have a fantastic time 😚😚
I love the heat from the sunshine abroad. Makes me feel far better, pain disappears, I have more energy, it’s wonderful ☀️wishing you a lovely holiday x
I differently think warmth is so much better than what I am experiencing with the cold now, give it a go, also cruise you can do as much as you like or not much at all and rest in your room, good luck, tell us all about it in January xx
Lived in Texas for some years. I still had major flare ups but, overall, the day to day was less painful. For me, it wasn't necessarily the heat as in the winter temperature varied greatly throughout the day, but for the Spring and Autumn months it was a pretty steady very warm day and that did make a massive difference!
For me both the warmth and the sea air make a difference. And just floating in the sea water. We’re moving to the coast which hopefully will give me year-round help with symptoms and nice flat places to walk!
I feel much better when I’m abroad, I wish I could live in a warmer climate!
actually moving home to the driest hottest place in Europe, as every time I visit my friends there, I feel so much better. But it does seem to vary from person to person
I'm in Lanzarote at the moment I come every winter it's almost like a switch goes off the pain is much better. I love cruises and would have no problem going on my own the staff are so helpful the food is amazing and I could sit in a hot tub all day. Takes a few days to get your bearings but im sure you will I love it. Have a great time.let us know how you get on. Xxx
Hi Dolphin 21,
The heat definitely helps my Fibromyalgia. The sun is always energising too. Enjoy the cruise but pace yourself as there are so many good activities and entertainment etc, so don’t try to do everything as I did then paid for it with 2 days flare-ups and exhaustion. The Karaoke is fun… which ship are you going on and what are your itineraries?
Take care,
Have fun, 🦋
