The heat is on
hello I have worked in some hot envirements and found that a wet cotton tea towel draped round my neck was a big help hugs sue
That's doable I have to remember that on especially as its my neck ache that's makes me feel sick and feels swollen as if my head is going to explode when it's really hot. Thanks I also try to bathe my feet in cold water but is really hard to do in a hand basin last year I fell over and paid the pain price for a month after
Hi nothingwrong
I sincerely hope that you are feeling as well as you possibly can be today? I think many of us have this issue and I have read many posts pertaining to it. I tend to wear lighter material based clothing as I over heat really easily. I also use high sugar drinks such as Lucozade to replenish my minerals otherwise I get really bad headaches.
I have pasted you a link to NHS Choices as this can become a serious issue if you cannot control your body temperature at all, but please do not be worried, I have done this just as a guideline and to offer you some answers, as some people can become faint with the heat:

Hi there,
having lived in South Africa for many years especially in the sub tropical area I think I have plenty of experience with heat lol. If you find yourself over heating go to the wash basin and run cold water over the insides of your wrists for as long as it takes to cool down.
All of your blood passes through the veins in your wrists and the skin is thin enough so that the cold water can cool you down. I hope this helps for you it was a tip given too me by a very kind old lady a long time ago.
Hugs
Helen
We were told to do this by a teacher in infant school. I had forgotten it. sue
