Is it right to feel nauseous with fibro?
hi, I wouldn’t say with fm, but IBS, yes.
I have fibro and every day at some point I feel nausea and sometimes i get a funny tummy as i call it I've had this today x
Yes I feel sick but not every day. It visits for about a week and then is overtaken by some other problem. Don't you just love fibro, the condition that just keeps giving.
Hi, I'm more inclined to say it's more like IBS than fibro I agree with Blue-52
Fibromyalgia does play mega havoc with the nervous system in the stomach region e.g. IBS and ibd etc. Also plays on the way you digest your food.
Just enough joy of being a fibromyalgia sufferer not !
Yes sweetie 🤗. Best speaking to ur GP about meds or the Angel s on here.I'm sorry ur feeling 💩 sweetie.
Hugs Dawn 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤔🤗🤗🤗🤗😍😋🙂😊😀😃😄😇
I get nausea fairly often and a dicky tummy, but I also have IBS and have meds for it. I had IBS before I was diagnosed with Fibro.
Same - I have IBS and IBD. I understand that IBS can be a symptom of fibromyalgia for some people. Your GP will be the best person to help with diagnosis and treatment. All the best KBACS. Hugs xx
I do feel like this often, I have vomit phobia so being nauseous is the worse feeling for me
Hi I often feel nauseous and put it down to another symptom of Fibro. I haven't got IBS. XXX
Hi! I think so yes. Especially from chronic fatigue. Personally I get more nausea when I am not rested enough and I am forcing myself to do something . I also have IBS but I do find a difference between IBS nausea and fibro's nausea from chronic fatigue. There is also nausea from too much pain, but it's easier to understand it.
Hope that helps.
Big hug 🤗
Hi, from my experience yes and no. Fibro directly no but it likes to bring other conditions in which for me a long history of GI symptoms GERD, gastroenteritis, Barrett’s esophagus, gastritis, gastric ulcers, ulcerative colitis, achalasia over the last 30+yr. IBS will also cause uneasy stomach but severe pain will also cause nausea. I’m sorry you are experiencing these symptoms. I hope you feel better soon. My heart goes out to you. ❤️
Hi KBACS, I too suffer from nausea from time to time and if I over do things it can bring on vomiting. I hope this helps. Fibromyalgia causes an extreme response to external stimuli, which include sound, smell, and light. As such, you may experience headaches, dizziness, or nausea when exposed to stimuli that cause a sensory overload.
Thank you everyone appreciate all your comments & support. I feel like im on a rollercoast when my body throws symptoms in2 the equation!!!
