Hello, it’s very stressful. I was awarded 2019 through going to tribunal. And now having to go through the whole thing again. Citizens advice has helped, PIP have until 26th of December to reply? Strange timing 🤔

Hi

You can do it through this form.

I did one a few years back and just challenged everything I disagreed with valid clear answers as to why you disagree and how it affects you on a daily basis.

Good luck and Merry Christmas.

call your citizens advice they will sign post you to a voluntary group that helps with PIP applications. They are good, I just got mine approved

Please don't request a MR by telephoning. Should you do so then another decision maker can look at it at any time.

By putting your MR in writing you therefore gain some time, & can say where you should have gained points & exactly why.

It's incorrect to say you have only one month in which to do a MR. With good reason you have 13 months; this may be due to being ill health, or simply not knowing you have 13 months. If refused by the DWP then you simply proceed to a tribunal.

For a MR you can, as mentioned, either use the form, or simply write a letter (putting your name & National Insurance number on each page).

If you haven't already done so with your initial claim form then please give a couple of recent (at the time of your assessment or just prior) examples as to the difficulties you face. These should be as detailed as possible such as where you were, what exactly happened when you did/attempted an activity, did anyone see this, & were there any consequences such as increased pain/fatigue?

It's also important to say if you cannot do any activity/descriptor 'reliably.' This means it may take you longer, you can't complete it to an acceptable standard, repeat it as often as is usual or can't can't do it safely. Please have a look here, which is well worth reading : gov.uk/government/publicati...
