I just came back from my acupuncture therapy when the acupuncturist saw my condition (as getting worse) he advised me to apply for mobility (a car), a blue badge..etc, does any one know how do I go on about it?
Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Hi Sorry to hear your condition is worse. For my blue badge I contacted my local council and they gave me the number to call for a form to be sent out. They also sent an occ therapist out to assess me to be registered disabled and check if I needed any adaptations at home. I then contacted DWP to apply for DLA (now PIP). Gentle hugs Joolz.x
you have to apply for personal independence payment. ring up your local dwp to get the phone number. once you have rang them your claim will start from then thats if your claim is granted
I had a look on the Gov.Uk site for you and got this information off which I hope helps. "Around a third of all BlueBadges are currently issued to people who receive the higher rate of the mobility component of DLA. As DLA will no longer exist for people aged 16-64 the DWP has decided that people in this age group should be automatically eligible for a Blue Badge if they score 8 points or more in the ‘Moving Around’ activity of PIP. This activity assesses a person’s physical ability to get around and a score of 8 points or more will be awarded to people who are either unable to walk or who cannot walk further than 50 metres. This means that future eligibility for a Blue Badge will be as similar to the current eligibility criteria for the scheme as possible.
If you don’t qualify for PIP, you may still get a Blue Badge as they will be able to apply directly to their local authority to see whether they qualify under any of the other criteria. " My friend who is not on DLA/PIP because of her age as Attendance Allowance has no separate Mobility component but has osteoarthritis and COPD received a Blue Badge from our local authority after filling in a questionnaire and a short assessment so it is definately worth applying straight away. I am sure if your application for a Blue Badge is successful that can only help your PIP claim.
