I wanted too ask you what you think 🤔. I have for the last 3 weeks been really ill.
I have had all the usual aches and pains, and feeling sick , being sick, the most awful headache that lasted for 4 days, feeling dizzy, tearful, feeling sorry for myself . It just goes on and on, All I seem to do is sleep and more sleep.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Love Jane x

Any headache that lasts longer than 2 days needs investigating. We all are guilty of blaming fibro for everything when sometimes it's not down to the dreaded fibro. Please ask your GP or pharmacist for advice. I am as guilty as the next for blaming fibro when in fact I've had calcific tendonitis, detatched ligament and tendon, severe ear infection etc. Each time I delayed seeing the GP when if I had acted immediately I wouldn't have suffered for so long.
Hi JaneSorry to hear you feel so ill. The new covid strain has sickness and nausea, it might be worth a test to rule it out. It's so tough not really knowing when we have additional symptoms because of our condition.
I'd do a covid test that's the main thing I got from it, dizziness. Mind you I suppose if you had covid for 3 weeks you probably won't get a positive test result...
Hi Jane, I'm actually going through something similar myself. Headaches for 5 or 6 days now, xhesty cough and oh god my joint pains in agony, I'm not sure what it is myself. Did a covid test and it's not that, I'm starting to think maybe it's a fibromyalgia flare up. Hope you get some relief soon..
Hello Jane, sorry too read you are feeling so poorly, I would differently speak too your doctors surgery for some advice for a piece of mind, there seems too be a lot of bugs around at the moment as well, I hear they are taking awhile too shift , let us know what the surgery says as it’s been going on awhile, poor you get well soon xx
Hi... sorry to read you're really not well... best see the gp if you can or at least see if they do an e consult... nausea is one thing, but actually being sick is another... also the headache? could it be like a migraine type thing... is your vision affected ? that can cause sickness.
I did a covid test the day before an acupuncture appointment yesterday. Used rubbishy old test sticks, but they were both negative. - Whatever you've had, sounds like you're surviving it in spite of the weather, the darkness and all the misery of the world crowding in. A flare is no mean thing. It's the meanest rotten horrible thing to deal with, and so depressing and disappointing. - Sleeping lots was good idea, but keep up fluids and nourish yourself as best you can. - Whatever normally lifts you, try and do a bit of that. Watch the box but not the news. Ring your doc or even 911 if it all suddenly gets too much and the dizziness, which can be so unnerving, gets worse because your ears might be affecting your balance if you've had a cold. - Get well soon.
Hi Smiler, There is a really nasty Cold/Flu thing doing the rounds at the moment. Here in wales it's knocking folk flat for up to 3 weeks (highly unusual for a cold), but hasn't been deemed a Covid variant (YET!)
It also gives chest infection vibes, lots of gucky stuff, aches and pains, all the Flu ey stuff.
Sounds like your having a really bad flare up! Have you been over doing things or have you been stressed about anything. Me personally if iv been stressed about anything I get all those symptoms.
