Sorry to hear you're suffering from a double whammy!

Do you have migraine tabs and anti sickness tabs?

I was taking migraine tabs for years without anti sickness tabs. A dr eventually told me that even if I'm not always sick, but feel sick to take anti sickness tabs first, mas they settle your stomach so that the migraine meds can be digested properly and work properly. If I've run out and can't get my prescription I've even used car sickness tabs.

As for the restless legs did you read the post on magnesium oil rubbed in or Epsom salts in a bath? Might be worth a try.

Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.🌸

Hi stargirl47

I am so genuinely sorry to read that you have a migraine and RLS tonight, and I sincerely hope that both of them ease for you soon. I saw a Neurologist for my migraines and they prescribed a drug called ''Sumatriptan'' and they have worked wonders for my migraines.

There are medications that you could discuss with your doctor for RLS as well? I have pasted you an excerpt and a link to the *NHS Choices cache on RLS:

*Medication

Dopamine agonists

Dopamine agonists may be recommended if you're experiencing frequent symptoms of restless legs syndrome. They work by increasing dopamine levels, which are often low.

Dopamine agonists that may be recommended include:

ropinirole

pramipexole

rotigotine skin patch

I want to sincerely wish you all the best of luck, and please take care of yourself.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken

I have suffered with insomnia for most of my adult life so I do not sleep a great deal. If I do sleep too much I get migraines and am always s**k (sorry). Thanks my friend, and I sincerely hope that you feel better soon.

All my hopes and dreams for you

Ken x :)

I tend to sleep between 6.00 am and 8 / 8.30 am depends on when I need to get up? I help look after my wife who has MS. Bit funny really as I cannot look after myself and we have a care team come in several times a week x :) x

Thanks blue52 il give that a go , heres hoping for a pain free day for aii :-) xx

Hi stargirl47 from Nurse Gladys Emanuel (open all hours) I can advise on the migraine, MAYBE ask your g.p if you can try some Sumatriptine which kill the onset of a migraine before it sets in hard!

As for RLS-oooh! that's awful, I did experience this a couple of times and had to give up my sleep to avoid disturbing others, I was sure it was meds causing it and I discussed this with my g.p and we weened off what we thought was causing the onset-it worked and I have not had any now for over a year.. Good Luck our friend hope you get sorted-go see g.p that's where you start.

Hi Nurse Gladys Emanuel, I hope that you are well today? I have Sumatriptan for my Migraines and I have found them to be the best drug that I have ever taken. As they shrink the blood vessels going into the brain it cuts out all the pain, wonderful medication in my opinion! x :)
