Has anyone heard of resetting crystal in your head .I thought it was nonsense. I did the exercise, lay flat then turn your head 45 degrees or as far as it can without causing pain to your left for 45 seconds turn it back then sit up,
It actually works the off balance and dizziness has gone .
I will keep you posted as to how long it lasts.

Thanks, yeah I think it is like vertigo I get off balance and fuzzy head with my fibromyalgia. It worked really well yesterday and fill the brain fog has gone today .Always worth trying out new techniques.
Hi, yes after suffering for over 40yrs with fibro I would never put anyone off from giving something ago.
All I know for me personally what you where describing was more like virtigo than fibro. Never heard that technique used to treat fibro. But if it works for you and makes you feel better thats great 👍
Hi Dizzy, I’m a bit confused 🫤 although I have actually just realised that I replied to Puddywood instead of who I meant to reply to with that comment🙊it was actually meant for the person who posted about resetting the crystals in your head by lying down and turning to the left, then sitting up etc. My mistake so maybe that is what you meant 🤔xx
I have found almost any symptom you reasearch can an will be attributed to fibro even heartattack?? Thats why I will always urge people to get symptoms checked and not rely on Dr Google xx
I agree, I don't research on Dr Google I read and listen to studies, I got lots of info too from the Dummies Guide to Fibromyalgia couldn't believe the list of symptoms. Prior to reading this I believed I didn't have Fibro and felt I was being dismissed as I was having symptoms that I didn't associate with the condition, however I now know I wasn't.
I have heard about this a while ago and had forgotten so thank you for reminding us. I’ve been having very dizzy spells for almost a year and blood tests and blood pressure checks have not given me any answers. I shall definitely try this. Thank you again ☺️
This works great if you have benign paroxysmal positional vertigo as it helps to move the tiny pieces of calcium crystals that have moved to where they shouldn't be. I just wish it worked for all kinds of vertigo
Hi Kali. It's brilliant isn't it! The Epley Maneuver helped me recently too. (Anyone can type the name in on Google etc, to see a youtube film that is only five minutes long.) I found quite a few different explanations of the technique and my husband helped me do it the first time as I was still scared of passing out and falling of the bed. There was another very short film about sussing out which side of your head was the dizzy side, but I would have to relearn that one.
One of the youtubes I found has a really good, extra explanation about how the crystals the brain relies on for signals on how to balance itself, get into the wrong canal. Probably, mine had because I had been rushing around, bending, reaching up etc for weeks trying to sort stuff out. Then a horrible journey in a tiny uncomfortable coach plus a lactose reaction, sparked off the most horrible experience at four in the morning next day as I turned over in bed. - Thought it was a stroke! Having catarrh made it all worse - as in thoroughly unnerving! I found that the explanation that the crystals had been shifted to where they should not be and then going through a that very simple five minute technique really helped me understand it too. The technique pretty much fixed it first time too. Thanks for sharing your very similar experience. Just shows there are cures out there! Bring 'em on!
