told don’t need assessment then receive a txt message

Got this 1st September . Just tonight received exactly the same txt . However when I rang last week told waiting for case manager to make decision they had enough evidence so no face to face assessment needed . They also told me the case manager dead line was 18th I October to made a decision if I am awarded pip or not . I am confused .

its possible that you were given incorrect information last week - but also possible that a decision maker looked at your case and decided that an assessment would be needed after all. the benefits system is completely broken.

Hi juicy, I've got that notification to, had another text this morning phone assessment on 2nd November. Feeling a bit anxious about assessment, I've heard a lot of negative things, hoping I can get through it with a good outcome.

That's weird, I got a text then, had my assessment Monday 13th, really intense, and have to wait up to 8 weeks for outcome, it'll probably be a no, as I know it's hard to get. Goodness knows what's going on with yours x
