I was diagnosed with ME in 1993, but have since been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, so it might have been that all along. Recently I have been suffering with pain down one side of my face affecting the sight in that eye. The only relief I get is if I gently press on the painful area, it’s as if someone has punched me in the side of the face. Has anyone else had anything similar?

yes I suffer eye pain with headaches always my right eye! I get facial pain and tingling diagnosed with neuralgia! Had Botox a while ago which helped - not cosmetic Botox but into three muscle areas…. I can have it again as it helped. It’s through the maxillofacial team - I was referred by dentist
Yes, my face and eyes always feel like I've got a sinus infection and always have a headache 🤕. Who knows what causes what anymore. It could send you mad trying to work it out 😏

Sounds very painful , what has your GP said about this ? I do get head and facial pain and use couple companies one of which does a wonderful balm that I massage in called Herbs on the Hill , I have too order online but they have good reviews and I’m never without any, they use their products on the NHS, check it out as been using them a good while and never found anything better, differently massage does help as I also wear a sleep mask for apnea and wake up with headaches, facial pain. Take care xx
