Hi georgiegirl i got a call from a decision maker the same as you and she told me that my pip was put up to enhanced on both, i think you should be ok good luck x
He said he wanted to bump up points so I answered 3 questions x
What 3 questions did they ask u, snd if u call them to say u now got fibromyalgia do thrh syp ur money whilst they re-assess u? Reason I'm asking is when I only had arthritis and degenerative disc disease I only got 10 out of 12 points for mobility, apparently the other 2 points are for being able to plan journey, making it impossible to get it as no matter how much pain and lack of mobility I hsve, I can plan a journey..even tho my hubby has to drive the long journeys? Any help would b appreciated. X
I really hope they come back with great news 🤩I think the waiting is the hard part! Let us know 🤗
awarded enhanced daily living no mobility x
I’m glad you got one aspect of it. Could you appeal? I know it’s stressful but that’s what I did a few years ago and I got the mobility part too. Good luck 🤗
Fingers and everything crossed for you.x
Hi - just saw you have been awarded PIP. So pleased for you after all you've been through. Congratulations.!!
I see that you have had a text saying you have been awarded PIP. Great news for you. x👍😀
Hi, I sincerely hope this all goes in your favour & you hear soon. Would you be able to share what the 3 questions you were asked were? I’m wondering if it is like a security check to make sure you answer the same information that you put on your PIP2 “how your condition affects you form “. it might help others when filling in the application to ensure they cover off these questions thoroughly in the first place. 🤞🙏 for you
My husband is waiting for a decision about his condition and he's with capita. He has had loads of problems with them. They had all the wrong information and even the wrong Drs. He has spent the last couple of weeks, personally asking the Drs and other professionals if they can write him letters as a form of evidence that he can add to his claim. We have given away so much money, just for them to write a letter! He's been waiting since November, as there has been so many mistakes. Mine was very straight forward, I did t even need an assessment. But, I think that's because over the last 2 years I seem to of spent my life either at the Drs or seeing someone from the medical profession. I hope they pull their fingers out and give you a decision soon. Please keep us updated. We shouldn't be made to wait as long as we do for a decision, especially when our medical records blatantly tells them everything. The form itself took me 3 weeks to fill in, as it confussed me, I felt like I was repeating myself, I was in so much pain in my hand, not to mention my anxiety levels hitting the roof. It was only when my husband phone to apply for his PIP after I filled mine in that I found oiut you could do it online!!! DOH lol that would have been so much easier. Although, just as overwhelming lol
Good luck hun xxx
hi I rang dwp I was awarded enhanced daily living no mobility x
What???? That's not right, how can that be right!! Fibro affects your mobility 100%. Appeal hunny, coz that's wrong. What o found when I filled in my forms was, I had to put my pride aside. I wrote every Thing down on the form, every page was full (they must have got sick of reading it.) You must appeal hun, you are entitled to it. Its going to take abit more time and your anxiety levels will probably be sky high. But it's worth fighting for. It's the best thing I ever did, I received my descion last month. It took 5 months. My CBT practioner wrote a really good letter to them when they wrote to her and the Dr must have too. If you don't mind me asking, are you on many meds? Are you seeing anyone from the metal health team or physio department?
Please stay strong and try not to let this destroy any optamisim you have left. This just means waiting abit longer, but you must phone them and ask for an appeal. Xxx
rang dwp I was awarded enhanced daily living no mobility x
Better than nothing going to wait for the letter to come to check points they wouldn't say anything else on the phone x
