Good morning my friends getting out of bed in the morning is so painful my body hurts so much , as well as fibromyalgia I have had surgery on my shoulder and have trapped nerves in my neck and two appointments have unfortunately been cancelled think I do understand that but I can’t seem to focus on getting any relief ever from the pain of Fibro think what’s going on in the world makes it worse , it’s just nice to get things of your chest with people who really understand . No one knows how much pain we are in and how it affects our daily life , and missing the family and especially grandchildren makes it wise , thank you all for listening it really helps xxx

Hey there

Good morning to you today. Have you a time in the day where it is slightly less than other times? For me I’m at my worst ( outside of a flare up ) in the mornings. I’m as stiff as a board and it’s extremely hard to get out of bed. However in the afternoons I’m quite tired but the pain has receded a bit. I can move easier and I’m more inclined to move too.

Have you got a pain log?

There are two possible side effects to a pain log. One is more understanding of the pain and the other is being too focused on the pain :). Easy when we are in pain to be too focused and very understandable that we are.

Are you on your own at the moment? I hope that you find some level of comfort on here and if you need to talk, you are not alone.

Dom

This is such a great forum for getting things off your chest. I'm pleased you've written this. Although I'm not sure what so suggest apart from very gentle stretches while sitting on the edge of your bed.

Have you tried biofreeze? I use the roll on to ease the pain up my spine and to my shoulders. It'll take about 10 minutes to work. As your so stiff the pump spray might be easier for you.

I really hope something works for you.

You'll have to purchase the biofreeze on line. It's not on UK GP's formulary.

Take good care.
