Hi Ellie1991 I'm sorry to hear that you are having such a bad time with your mum not accepting what you are going through. Have you tried printing off articles and giving them to her to read, so that she could then maybe understand what you are going through. I believe that if you go to the main Fibromyalgia UK page there are links to articles there here's the link to the information pack fmauk.org/information-packs.... Hopefully after reading this your mum might see you and your fibromyalgia in a different light. Sending you a gentle hug.

Hi Ellie1991, I’m so sorry to hear of your struggles! It’s very difficult when you are feeling awful, but it’s so much harder when you are not believed! It’s a very stressful situation & so hard to cope with. Stress makes Fibromyalgia even worse! It’s one of my main trigger factors, so I really do empathise with you. Sending a gentle hug! x

Take your time and do things when your fibro body has better days ,we do need too take a step back sometimes and days we need our own space for sure. I am happy with hibernating under the duvet at night with my TV ,last few days been very dull and heavy rain . I’ve even been watching some Xmas films 😀early for me ha ha, but seeing all the beautiful decorations in the back ground looks really pretty .xx
