Media Case Study - Anyone affected by medication shortages?

Has anyone been affected by shortages of medications in the UK?

Medications for conditions including Parkinsons, asthma, diabetes and cancer are routinely out of stock in the UK due to big pharma quotas intended to prevent wholesalers in the UK exporting drugs abroad.

This can lead to patients having to go without their drugs and potentially having setbacks and relapses.

If anyone has been affected in this way (note - this is completely different to not being able to get a prescription from your doctor), then there has been a request by a national newspaper for a case study. Getting case studies like this of people affected by Fibro is a way of raising awareness of our condition. Please email lindsey.middlemiss@fibroaction.org if you think you might be a suitable case study
