mind over mood

This is a book, I found interesting, as you can see it was awarded, - for me, the techniques to controlling your mind your perception of something, and if you have learnt the hot cross bun method, this book is a great compliment to what you have learnt with ideas on how to continue.

My overall feeling on the CBT concept is that we may have learnt bad or un-productive ways to handle ourselves, society can also make us behave in a way that is deemed acceptable but in reality it may not be good for our mood.

I also feel a lot of life carries judgement, is one person better then another, reality programmes that play one person against another, music programmes with Judgement, maybe it is just my vulnerability but I do feel that society plays a part in our thoughts and individuals in our group may just be them gentle flowers that feel more anguish or unsettlement being whiteness to this type of culture.

"Mind Over Mood was awarded the “Most Influential Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Book” by the prestigious British Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapies."

Here is a line in a book I am reading today, "There are people in the world who change imaginations" You can find them in the most unexpected places!

Yes, Its the only one I remember! The cross-sectional CBT formulation is sometimes called the ‘hot cross bun’ formulation, used in psychology too.

Yes, I agree CBT is good. Initially some may look at it as something that is not that great or effective, "like what's all this about", But when you start to understand it - it is a powerful tool 🙂

Had a look - did very similar with my cbt counsellor, but not in this format - mine was a table with 4 columns, but looking at this it seems a better format x
