The pain in my hips and pelvic area is immense everyday. I get no relief and it’s been months and months. Is there something else going on or is this my fibro. I’m so new to this and trying to figure out what’s the new normal or not. I have pain in other places everyday but it’s bearable and can get on with it. But because the pain in my hips is affecting my walking And there’s no relief I’m starting to question if this is something else

How long should I be in constant pain
It's really easy to blame the dreaded fibro for every ache and pain but sometimes it is something else. Please see your GP. I have delayed seeing a doctor several times thinking the groin pain was fibro and it was osteoarthritis in the hips, the shoulder pain turned out to be calcific tendonitis and the ankle pain was a detached ligament and tendon that required surgery to fix. So as you can see it's not always fibro related so best get it checked just in case.
Hi there, I think the only person who can answer your question is your GP. That hip pain sounds more than just fibro imo xx

Hi there. You have two major nerves running through your groin area the illiohypergastric and hypergastric nerve.please have this area checked for entrapment particularly within the lower abdominal or bowel. Good luck with the scan my friend x
By that I mean please request an Ultrasound of the area
