PNEUMONIA INJECTION

Hi. I had the pneumonia injection two days ago which caused my fibromyalgia to flare up the following day even more so than usual. I not only could not lift my injected arm up but my lower back and neck were aching so much I could hardly move. Has anybody else suffered after having this injection. I did not have the same effects after flu or COVID-19 injections.

Morning… I can’t remember having a reaction. But that’s not to say I didn’t have one. I’m sure all will be fine again in a couple of days. Take care.

Hi Dianne the strange thing is I had pneumonia jab and following week flu jab this was about 4 years ago and this was when my problems started , I felt so ill my whole body hurt and the pains have never gone had lots of test which is when I was diagnosed fibromyalgia, the drs all said it was nothing to do with the jabs but I believe it was and have never felt well since 💕

Hi Dianne2008 , I had a flu & Pneumonia jab one after the other a few years ago. I was working as a Community Nurse at the time and apart from a slightly swollen and sore arm, I was able to carry on.

It happens, and since we’re all different, we experience different reactions.

I hope you feel better soon.

GP. 😊😊

I'm like that after the flu jab every year. I just make sure to expect it and I have a couple of rest days. Covid jab want as bad pain wise, but was totally exhausted. Feel better soon.

Hiya , I have Fybro 14 years now , and after giving up smoking 10+ yrs ago after afew years I developed a cough & asthma , chest infections galore but last year had double pneumonia was hospitalised for eight days & my consultant didn’t know to incubate me or not , thankfully he didn’t my temperature was 42 sats 62 I literally woke up early morning went to breathe & nothing i was so terrified & am traumatised from it as in can’t watch anybody out of breath or anyone closed in , came out of hospital still coughing but much better . Then 9 months later at the start of covid it happened again but this time with every cough came blood & with every cough for nearly 2 weeks there was blood, he confirmed double pneumonia & I was put on the covid ward but my test came bk negative so he wanted me out of the ward & get better at home that’s nearly a year ago but I still have a terrible cough & it sounds disgusting, just had an X-ray & am on some tablets to take my cough away & it’s still here , I’ve never heard of the pneumonia jab !!! Does it stop you getting it like flu jab & covid jabs , I hope everyone is feeling better & well x marie xxx
