Update on pip call no appointment 2
Hi, I'm not sure why you think 4 weeks is quick. It only takes a few mins for them to pick up a phone and request to speak to your GP or a specialist . If you feel they have not contactacted your doctor and would like to know. Do what I did and request to speak with your GP and ask them if they have received a call from the DWP.
From my own experience my GP told me if the DWP wanted any information from my records they would have to put it in writing. Again this could all be done in a short space of time.
I would call the surgery and ask. If you cant speak with the GP ask to speak to the surgery manager. All calls will be logged. So if they have rang the surgery there will be a record of it.

The lady who called last said they would write to consultant and gp that is why I think it is such a short time to have the report done they have not contacted any of my carers either and they are the ones best placed to tell them how I manage on a day to day basis 27 days includes weekends which none of them work and then they would have to go through all the paperwork that I sent in and there was a lot and write the report as well that is very quick not sure if that is a good sign or a bad sign can I get a copy of tge report with it being moved to a paper based one from a telephone report I dint knownif the rules are tge same or not
They dont usually write to both GPs and consulktants at the same time Its usually GPs only and they usually state in these letters it would be helpful to enclose any consultants reports on your medical file. GPs dont usually enclose these type of letters on request and the DWP do not want to have to pay for both GPs and hospital reports at the same time
They already have have my full medical report I sent that in and have provided all the updated info from the hospital including the fact that I have to have another opp next week she said she would write to the consultant as they have seen more of me in the last year but are they nit meant to speak to your carers I gave them permission to speak to them they also have letters from them also
Hi there, I am sorry I am not up on benifits and how they work. Your questsions would be better put to someone from the DWP I'm afraid.
Why not give them a call and ask for a copy. Or maybe best wait till you get a decision then call them. The outcome may be better than you think.
If it was me I would just wait for the decision. Then if I was not satisfied I would then start asking questions.
And sometimes these things can be done fast other times drag on for weeks. Speed imo is not always an indication of the outcome whether that maybe good or bad xx
Have you got a representative to help you? I had a fabulous rep and he would ring or write if anything happened to find out the deal. You should speak with your gp or DWP and get copies or ask what is going on. I wouldn't worry. I am sure it is just routine.
My sister called the dwp and asked them for a copy of the report they said it would be 10 days to send so she has asked tgem to send it. What type of rep do you mean I spoke with a man from welfare rights who went over my review form and then we sent it in but no other than that I don't really know where to get a rep from he just told me to let him know the outcome
If he helped with the form, he will probably represent you or help you with any problems or if you need to appeal anything. He can probably advise you further. Most welfare rights groups have people to represent you further if they helped or will do so at any point. CAB, Turnto us can help online and with local groups. Your council should have a welfare team as well. Ours does and I don't think I would have got it without them. Benefits maximisation they are called and they also represent you with any issues or advise further. I know funds are cut at the moment but there are a number of groups. It may be worth contacting them again to see if they can advise or help further. If not they may know who can.
It sounds as if you have a good sister who is looking out for you. Its often good to have family who can call for you. At least if you have the copy you can go from there.
Good luck.
