We purchased one about 10 years ago as I used so many pillows to prop myself up, under my knees to keep them supported with a slight bend, and under my feet to raise them etc. Suffering with osteoarthritis as well as fibromyalgia plus was waiting for a hip replacement (now done) and also 2 knee replacements (still waiting). The bed is a double so I can adjust any how without bothering my partner, he suffers with his back and adjusts his side accordingly. I now have only 3 pillows and whatever pain I am in I am able to adjust and can feel the pain relief in an instant and if readjustment is required through the night again just the touch of a button and sorted, no wriggling and bouncing around disturbing your partner. For me it has been a life saver as getting comfortable is a big issue and so the knock on effect of whether you can get a good nights sleep is essential. Best thing since sliced bread as they say.

Yes I have one for 5 years. Some nights I cannot sleep flat, so I can adjust bed head and bottom, it is great for my leg pain , only have it slightly up but it helps to have legs elevated. It is great on the nights I sleep flat , when I wake up I would have difficulty getting myself up, but with just a touch of a button I can lift myself up immediately. Money well spent. Treat yourself!

I don't have an adjustable bed, but my husband does, he had discitis in his neck about 6 years ago, and was having problems sleeping. Since buying the bed he sleeps much better.

However, just a little word of warning. He bought his from a company called Sleepkings through Amazon. Because he has a chronic health condition he was entitled to a VAT refund, lots of companies don't charge you the VAT if you fill in a VAT exempt form, but this company didn't do that, we had to pay for the bed in full and then complete the form to send back to them for them to send us the refund. We had trouble getting the refund from them and had to get Amazon involved. You too would qualify for zero VAT on an adjustable bed.

About 4 months after buying the bed, the mattress began to compress on one side, until my husband felt he was going to fall out because it was so much lower on that side. We asked for a refund or replacement, they refused it as it was over 3 months from the date of delivery. We went through Amazon and still got nowhere, even though the mattress was not fit for purpose. We have since bought a new mattress from Land of Beds, and my husband is sleeping much better now.

Sorry that this is a bit long, but just trying to say, buy from a reputable company.
