Morning all, how are you all,?

I have slipped discs, one really bad , five years ago I found out I have also Arthritis all down my spine , on top off that I find out after x Ray's on my knees last year ,that I have Arthritis on both too , ,

Last wk was sent MRI to establish how bad my spine is, was referred as I have started to get numbness in my lower legs,

I was on Naproxen ,Co codomol,High strength

For the past wk and a half I've had these stomach cramps, so what do I do just keep taking the meds , Was that unbearable the pain the emergency were going to be called, But I didn't! Monday morning, I called the GP surgery, I did get appointment , those Naproxen I've to come off and co codomal, but he will leave it a wk or so , I've never felt as much agony since .

Hi Fibromepainless

Sorry your having such a hard time, it just seems to be one thing after another doesn't it.

You mentioned pain relief you were using, were you taking anything to protect your stomach?

Some people manage fine without but I know I have to with anti inflammatory meds such as naproxen.

Disappointing your GP has left you for a week without trying anything for your stomach cramps.

Buscopan is really good for cramping but I think more if it's coming from lower down but might be worth a try

Hope you feel a bit better soon 🤗🤗

Hi you have to be very careful of taking Naprozen as it can affect your kidneys, hope you get something that will help you soon, have you tried Phorpain cream you have to get it from the Drs it is ibrophin which I can't take orally because of asthma but can use the cream it might help your knees. Love & Hugs Xx
