Pain management

Hi all, I hope everyone is well and keeping safe. These are scary times we are in. I have been trying to remain positive and take each day as it comes, however my pain levels are extremely high right now, all of my treatments... hydrotherapy, physio and blood tests ect... have all been cancelled, these were the only things keeping me on track. Has anyone got any suggestions on how to manage without these... my medications have all gone up the wall as without the blood tests it's hard to know what my levels are and how much meds I need...

Happy weekend to you all xx

Morning, yes day by day we try to get through this horrid time, and yes most appointments have come to a halt, hydro therapy sounds good , my pain levels have been higher so I have soaked longer in my Epsom salts bath bath to try relax muscles each day, I have had couple hot water bottles out as I find warmth so soothing late afternoon , I also gone outside on a relaxer for 15mins to get the Sun on my body, my doctor issued me with codiene which he says not too take all the time as addictive, I have used it which helps on the worst days , yesterday I had to take more pacing breaks as my body needed it. Not sure this has helped but the only advice I could think of, take care xxx

Hi, sorry you are struggling so much with pain. Sorry, I'm not sure why you need blood tests to maintain pain medication at the correct level.

My only suggestion would be to try and have a telephone consultation with your GP to discuss medication.

I find that having a long soak in the bath really helps me.
