Hi there just say to that member of staff I'm grateful for your help I really am but it's only my 3rd day everybody is allowed time to settle in , as the saying goes Rome wasn't built in a day, they should give you breathing space, go at your pace things will fall into place eventually , they won't get the best out of you if they rush you . Take care try not to worry it really is early days as yet. Xx

They can not expect miracles, and if the people you contact will not play ball with you, its not your fault they probably know all this, so just do your best. x

I am sure once you get into the flow of things you will naturally gain confidence and don't forget that some of the employees may have been exactly the same when starting in the same position - I think sometimes others forget or cannot recall their first days and how they felt. Same with management, like that program Undercover Boss sometimes they realise the strains put on or lack of support that juniors experience and make changes after experiencing it themselves! :)

Oh no ! On what grounds? So sorry to hear that ......was it a trial period or were you on probationary period?

No trial period at all. Because I wasn't wearing back and I didn't ring in as I lost my voices x

Just to make sure I understand you didn't ring in sick as lost your voice and one day you were not in black clothing?

Yep

Oh dear so effectively one day you didn't turn up for work with no notification of being sick? Could you have asked someone else to ring or emailed them to explain?

Is there another job you are looking at that you think might suit you better and where you can have reasonable adjustments due to living with chronic illness?

I hope so and wish you all the very best :)
