Good Morning everyone, lovely and frosty outside! Makes a change to Rain...

Does anyone No of a pain killer for jaw pain? Which doesn't cause Hair loss or Crumbling teeth?

I suffer withTrigeminal Fibromyalgia ,

None of these meds work well for the pain , Drs just want to give me the bad drugs , ☹

It's very painful on my left side of my jaw , heat pads help for a bit . It's like ear ache and tooth ache combined ...

Sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. Could a hot water bottle help, I've got a2 extra car long hot water bottles plus I've got a seat massager, it does your whole back, bum and thighs, it does help a little. It can be used in the car too. Take care Lynne

I'm meant to be going to my doctors on 26th to ask if I can have it instead of duloxatine, she mentioned both to me and I turned down the amitriptyline because they've gave me nightmares before when I was on them for depression but the side effects for duloxatine are worse

So I want to be on amitriptyline, but I'm not sure I'll get to see my doctor the way this whole coronavirus thing is going

My drs are only taking calls now not face to face!!

I just want a medication to stop the pain without hair or teeth loss!!!

That's what I think will happen at my doctors as lots of other doctors have done the same

As long as I can go pick up amitriptyline after the phone call it be okay

Pregabalin now it's the only thing that works!!!!!

And I'm only taking 100 g a day as I'm to scared to take it as I dont want to go bold!!!!

That's why I'm not trying it for fibromyalgia, the teeth and hair thing, same as gabapentin

Lots of people who I've spoken to and are on it say they havnt experienced any bad side effects!

My GP said all medications come with risks and to take it if I'm in pain! Basically he said take it or suffer!

Yeah then there's support groups dedicated to people who have been on pregabalin and had side effects and many many people who are suing Pfizer, the company who make pregabalin
