I am in the middle of a particularly bad flair up š was in bed all last week however the pain subsided by the weekend so managed to do some house work and sit downstairs with my partner and just do the usual homely things however all the the pain is back to a more manageable level this fatigue is crippling me! Iām sleeping for almost 12 hours a night and still having to literally force myself out of bed in the morning and then all I do is yawn and feel drained all day long. Iv had fatigue for years but I can never remember it being this bad. Any advice ? Or do I just have to ride this out until it buggers off and I get back to āmy normalā?.
I hope you are all well

Hi Lana. Poor you!! I know that feeling only too well, having suffered from Fibro since my teens (although it was only diagnosed 10yrs ago) and Lupus. Everybody manages their Fibro in their own way so I can only tell you what helps me.
When I have a bad flare I give in to it for a week or so and then I force myself to go for a walk every day. Some days I can only walk 100yds (meters) from my house, but the next day I go further, if only by 10yds. I prioritise this when it comes to managing my energy and if I do nothing else all day it doesnāt matter! Everything else can wait as far as Iām concerned. Iāll forego my shower if necessary. Iāve found that fresh air and exercise is the only thing that really helps.
As Iāve already said, everyone is different and over the last 30+ years I have tried all of the drugs, the alternative therapies, Chinese Medicine, etc., etc., and fresh air and exercise is the best thing for me.
I do hope you manage to get your energy back one way or another soon.
Aww thank you, I managed to pop round the supermarket I feel better for getting out but Iām still totally drained. Just ordered some food and going to relax in front of the tv and take my meds lol
