I'll be moving soon...

Hello everyone,

Several years ago I applied to our local Housing Assistance for elderly/disabled housing here in Massachusetts. My sister moved into a nice unit about 18 months ago when she lost her home to foreclosure, I will be moving into the building where she lives [64 units], that will be nice!

Last week a huge packet of paperwork came in the mail, my name finally came to the top of the list so as soon as all my paperwork is done and an apartment is ready [cleaned/emptied] I will be moving.

I live with my best friend John [for the past 10 years] we used to be a "couple" but now we are "roommates", it's complicated. He has known I want to move for two years and he is okay with it... I am moving less than a mile away. Basically, it's at the other end of the street.

It will be just me and my little cat [Keeva] and I am so excited! I cannot wait to move into my own place. But I am dreading the packing and physical labor that comes with moving. I'll get through it with a lot of help from my friends.
