You can find all the info on 'applying for PIP# on gov uk site.

Meantime you sit and wait for however long for letter to arrive telling you DWP decision.

Hello, Wait, no you can now next week request a copy of your assessment report then you can see what your award may should be but you still have to wait for the official notification letter, if the award is not to your expectation you can then start preparing for an MR focusing on the descriptors which you think you should have been given points., giving examples of what happens when you try to do or attempt the descriptors you are contesting.

I had my pip assessment a week ago , and received my copy of it today .... forgive me for appearing a bit dense ... but I have no idea how the scoring goes / or is on it . Any pointers in where to start anyone?

I’m in Scotland , don’t know if that makes a difference 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Little bit of a wait for response usually 6-8 weeks BUT it is backdated if granted.

I think they only backdate it if it's a brand new claim. They didn't backdate mine. My new payment In fact starts at end of December. I am transitioning from DLA to P!P.

You are right. Ending DLA and starting PIP nothing is backdated. But you don't loose any money while they jiggle you!!

The report will have at the rear all the descriptors listed. Black dots against the descriptor you have scored points. You need 8 points for low level daily living and 12 for enhanced the same for the mobility part. Add up the points and this should be your award.
