I have been diagnosed with a chronic back condition, effecting my lower back, and both legs, with a clear surgical target which i havent taken up as of yet, i have just been referred to a pain consultant from my long standing osteo consultant. Even though the condition is at the forefront, i feel like my body is in constant pain, almost every where, just heavy dull aches and pains i dont really think i should be getting constantly in my early 20’s, im thinking should i approach the possibility of fibromyalgia with the new consultant, or will it be brushed off as the obvious and well known issues with my back?
TIA x

Hi
I'm so sorry you are suffering so much. Could your Dr refer you to a rheumatologist? Your symptoms do seem like fibro but you need a professional who specializes in this sort of thing. I too am in so much pain all over due to my many conditions. Hope you get some answers very soon and then you will know what you are dealing with. Please take care of yourself Lynne
