You are working so you have money to spend on private therapies.

Have a listen to this youtube. I know a lot about Alexander Technique. I make use of it a lot to help with my pain issues.

This youtube is about Feldenkrais. The ideas you may find helpful.

If you are in the UK wheatsheaftrust.org/ is worth looking at. They help with work related issues to keep people in work. I may be in date or out of date regarding this. The DWP also has a department which helps with work related modifications to keep people in work. Again I am not up to date with this.

Hi, I wondered if you could talk to your employers about things that could be made easier for you? Maybe working less days so that you make sure you rest on off days if you can? Perhaps you can be allocated some of the lighter jobs? (If there are any!) This might be a stepping stone to seeing how much your body manages in a week, I travel in my job uk wide and I now know I need a couple of days rest afterwards, the more I push through the worse the pain and tiredness. I have had to adapt my schedule, but admittedly I work in a very flexible place.

Dear Sky, i use cbd oil spray from holland and barratt. I've been using it for a year now. H and B will advise you on dosage , and you need to check with your doctor . It dosent seem to affect my meds . Try cider vinegar up to twoo tablespoons a day , i do a dessertspn at a time in water with sweetener. And turmeric with pepper , can get tablets , all helps .

Love . K. T

Dear Sky , i also use ginger , fresh , and you can get tablets with ginger , turmeric and bromelian from h and b. Bromelian comes from the pineapple . Most in the stem. If i have a fresh pineapple i chew the stem parts and throw them away after ! KT

Dear Sky , I'm so glad and i do hope its safe for you to take these things . If i remember anything else I'll tell you. I also have glucosamine and chondritin etc for arthritis , but if you dont have that theres no need. The doctor told me to use paracetamol , it certainly helps with arthritis , i dont know about the fibro, i havent yet tried it for that . I'm plain exhausted today , i went to visit a friend monday and havent got over that yet !

Recently I've been using a painkilling gel the twelve hour voltarol emulgel. Theres also ibruprofen gel and there are cbd things to massage on. That might be a thought if your doctor doesnt like you taking it orally. When its cool enough i use an electrically heated pad in the small of my back , that helps all my back and arms , where i get the fibro pain principally. Recently i bought three plastic covered gel packs to use in the heat , i froze them ,but they are therapeutic pads and can be warmed in the microwave as well. (Much better than the wheat bags , mine always felt damp ! ). from Amazon . I use gingko biloba , now in liquid form for more energy . On a good day it helps me last longer , on a bad day it helps me to cope !

I notice someone has recommended the Alexander technique , i knew someone who found that a great help. So all tips are worth trying.

Others may have more suggestions . This site is a great help. God bless KT
