is this fibro ?
Wow I can understand you being worried...have u seen a specialist? Only a doc can tell u what is wrong so keep trying to get answers...hugs
That all sounds very frightening, I had similar symptoms.
Have you had
ECG
Chest X-ray or scan
Respiratory tests
Blood tests.
Obtain a copy of blood tests and post them here with the ranges ( figures in brackets) My blood tests showed I had low B12 and I treated myself ( because GP said it was normal even though lab marked it as low) which helped with the air hunger.
Try heat against your chest and back and if that eases the pain it’s most likely costochondritis BUT I’m not a medic so can’t diagnose, can only tell you what worked for me. After ECG, X-ray, scan and breathing tests I knew I didn’t have a heart or lung problem and eventually deduced it must be costochondritis causing the pain.
Before it was Fibromyalgia Ho no no no it's in your head Barking Mad!
Now it's "it's Fibro fibro don't you know yes Fibro causing all so many things"
Yet they was to bone idle and lazy to diagnose it themselves.
Had one Dinosaur Quack ask why want to be diagnosed!
Simple so know it's on record if something happens they know it's there when dealing with me and not doing things to make or etc plus learn if have more ways to deal/cope with it.
I’ve got many many of your symptoms and I’m putting it down to a bad body flare right now. I felt better in the winter. My whole body feels like it’s shaking in the inside.
hello, definitely sounds like fibro to me as I have had (still having to a certain extent) these symptoms. I was on amitriptyline for several years but came off last year due to horrible side effects (racing heart/painful eyes/trembling)- I find I am very sensitive to medication and herbal remedies so I just stick with taking paracetamol every night and during the day if I am having a flare. I am having the menopause which unfortunately is making the fibro much worse at the moment (most of the time feels like an ogre is constantly squeezing my left shoulder hard) - 18 months in and hoping it will sort itself out soon. I was having symptoms like yourself but they have improved somewhat through a gluten and dairy free diet, regular acupuncture, no alcohol/tea/coffee, trying to avoid stressful situations (putting myself first) and a comfortable/supportive bed, etc. I take each day as it comes unfortunately having to accept the limitations with living with this crappy condition though fortunately have a very supportive husband who makes me laugh a lot (including my grown up son who lives with us - still!!) Take care and try to stay calm when you are having these episodes (worrying makes the pain and panic attacks worse).
