So much pain
I am so sorry to hear you are suffering deborah27, pain can be so exhausting. Sounds like you could do with catching up with your GP on Tuesday? Are you able to get to a walk in centre if you need something sooner? Good luck and gentle hugs at this difficult time
(((Hugs)))
Speak to your GP after the bank holiday, and ask for a medication review. You may need a change of meds or a stronger dose. xx
Hi Deborah 27
Yes, I agree. Phone or go round to your drs first thing Tuesday morning and they should fit you in. Have you got any GPs who are open on a Sunday? Could you get someone to take you to an on call drs on Monday or go to the nearest one to you. Where do you live? We have a choice of surgeries that you can book into at weekend/ bank holidays which is very useful. Please take care Lynne
healthunlocked.com/fibromya..., yes I agree get on the phone tomorrow for your surgery, if it’s busy some areas will recommend out of hours from the bank holiday period, it’s pretty rotten being in pain all the time, what’s needed is help to get something that is going to give you some kind of relief. Like echo blue says if it’s getting too bad try the out of hours today 111 xx
Thank you for your reply.i found out something that might be useful. On Friday night I began vomiting really violently and the other end joined in equally uncontrollably. I also had the start of a chest infection and was already feeling rubbish. Hospital diagnosed food poisoning and by necessity focused on that with a drip etc... I was sore from lots of strained vomiting and what felt like a major assault on my body, all the areas of my body where I experience nerve pain completely went into spasm. I can only compare the pain level to that of strong labour contractions without a break inbetween! I was unable to move, sit, lie down, walk, anything!
It appears that the body's mechanism for fighting severe infection also affects and kickstarts the nervous system and is what causes the aching and pain when we have infections. Because I already have significant nerve damage, there may have been a bit of confusion going on between signals.
That's interesting. I've been having simular symptoms. ..good luck in recovering x
Was wondering have you lost serious muscle mass ..like left with skin and bones..
No, it is across my breast wall, left breast, down left side and into my arm and left hand, they lock without warning, when everything goes into spasm it is unbelievable pain!
