Yesterday I had an appointment at the hospital for a battery of Lung Function Tests. As well as fibro, I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis & these were due to restarting Methotrexate. They took about 45 minutes, followed by a 30+ mile trip back home. This morning I feel like 🤬🤬🤬🤬. My jaw, neck, upper back, lower back & ribcage feel as though I’ve been through a mangle & my lungs & back of my throat feel ..... sort of strained! I don’t know how to describe it.
I do have Fibromyalgia as well so I think it’s more likely because of that I feel so unwell. Has anyone else had the tests & felt like this the day after? Nic xx

Thank you Rosepetal60. This morning doesn’t feel quite so bad. I’ve had a couple of paracetamol & am now back in bed thinking I should perhaps have my shower a bit hotter this morning! xx 🙂

Hi! I have had to have loads of tests, mri, cts and everytime the day after i feel like i have been hit by a bus! So poorly with pain etc so i do think it is the fibro x
Hi Jardines. I’ve never had reactions like this to anything other than major surgery. I had to have an emergency op to remove a mass in my colon & before the op I was on one of those beds that moves (for bed sores & DVT, I believe). I tried to tell them I had a serious back problem, RA & fibro but they wouldn’t listen & switch it off. Even my husband kept telling them. It made me laugh when they kept asking me what my pain level was on a scale of 1 - 10 🙄. I said it was 10 before I was put on the bed but now I was in so much pain it covered up the pain of the mass inside which would burst if they didn’t do something quick. xx 🤬
It does make you wonder sometimes why they spent all those years training just to come up with crass comments like that! You’re right, if something isn’t totally textbook, they are clueless! 🙄
Hi I to have rheumatoid arthritis and fibromyalgia was put on methotrexate but had to come off as affected my liver. I now have come off all meds and gone down the line of holistic therapy. Bowen’s technique and cannabis oil. Also do qui long
