Has anyone else side effects such as memory loss with certain meds???? Well ! It has with me. The long off the story , I was taken to hospital last year about now, Suspected stroke, got the all clear to go home after hours in hospital in which I was relieved.

Head Consultant said that the pins and needle feelings in my head, down my face, both cheek bones, lips and down left arm was probably coming from Fibromyalgia, he sent me then to Neurology, while there I said about my memory being bad, last I saw him he looked up the med and read that Nefopan and Pregabalin can cause memory loss. Since I have been taken off them .xx

Yes I had memory loss to such an extent I went in the loo at the airport and couldn’t remember which was one male or female!! It was on holiday that I that I worked out it all stemmed back to the tablets. Once I came off them things improved as regards my memory. Unfortunately the benefits disappeared as well but still trying to find an alternate to help my sleep. I hope you feel better off them too!

Hi I'm on Pregablin and Amitiptyline my memory is terrible. Everyone says it's Fibro fog well I can be talking about something one minute and the next forget what I was talking about. It can't always be blamed on the Fibromyalgia it must be the Pregablin but don't know what I can replace the Pregablin with ? 😞.What did you replace it with ? X

To be honest if it wasn't for getting sent to hospital for emergency wouldn't have known it was the tablets ..

Hi did you collapse or what happened?

As a TIA causes that if prolongs into a mini stroke.

I had that Doctor thought panic attack!

Hospital just said "Out" next.

Yet speaking to a lady one day she said TIA said she was a specialist stroke nurse!.

Since speaking to stroke association they said more a stroke as things have lasted as memory and way i am with people/situations and done something to my hand as clench one side when walking.

Had pins and needles everything went numb BP was 185/115
