Hi Have you tried the Heavenly Feet shoes ? Worth a look on their website as they are amazingly comfortable. Hope this helps along with understanding hugs 🤗🤗🤗
Hi I have sore feet. Sadly the idea of fashionable shoes does not feature if you have painful feet for me. I buy Padders or Hotter or Ecco shoes. I wait for the sales and get a good deal.Regarding photosenitivity that is a Fibro thing . Good sunglasses and a hat is the solution . Vit D from the sunlight is so much cheaper than pills!
Hi Jessica, I wear Skechers shoes, all the time, they have memory foam insoles which are very comfortable, and they now have many designs, with slip-ons or laces, colourful and floral designs. I even have Skechers boots for the winter. X
All I wear are flip flops or Fitflops for the warmer days & sheepskin boots for when it’s colder. I have some faux sheepskin boots that I wear as slippers too. They were very cheap & I could wear them outside too. I never wear socks but you can get lovely soft fleece socks that some people swear by.
I know that flip flops & sheepskin (Ugg) type are frowned on by physio’s but it’s what works for you & it does for me. I hope you find something that helps.
Have you been to a podiatrist? Good shoes and support, is key to foot comfort. And that is very individual. Best to try them before buying. It may be that your feet are needing better support? For example, most shoes have no arch support at all these days. A high arch should be supported. That means finding the correct insoles for support.
I'm saying this because that's my issue and the pain is excruciating if I wear my fav fancy shoes. Or even the wrong shoes for my sensitive little feet!
You may need to brazen out, that your comfy shoes are the new high fashion. I could do with more buddies that clompety clomp around in 'sensible shoes'.
Maybe DM's or similar are suitable? I don't know, but lots of girls like them and they do make a statement. Wear em with jeans or dresses.
Any heel will upset my feet, or sometimes it is my knees and hips and back that complains before my feet complain and I figure the link that once again, it's my lovely new (expensive) shoes!
I too hate shopping for shoes. There is what I like, and only occasionally what actually suits my feet. I sit in the shop with my foot support inserts and the nice assistants slowly lose the will to live, as they bring out shoe after shoe. It's exhausting. I need new shoes now, but the energy to tackle the operation is lacking.
I had constant foot pain for years. It hurt even laying down with no pressure. Foot to floor had me wincing or stumbling or even sitting back down. My feet are pretty much cured so long as I wear good shoes and don't walk barefoot too much in the house. I must have support and padding for my feet.
Ooh, also, my lovely gt niece and nephew love trampolining and thought I would too and dragged me on board. And I did love it! Until after (about 5-10 mins including lying on the trampoline giggling)) when I was wrecked. Worse, flexing my feet by bouncing on them made them hurt terribly for weeks. It seems I have to be sensible and not do silly stuff, Boo hoo!
Hope you get some relief.
Just a thought --- have you had your B12 checked ?
Before I was diagnosed with fibro ( but had a few signs of it) I had terrible problems with my feet. Burning pain and shoes were unbearable. I had a 4 day course to attend and can remember barely being able to walk from the car park to the building. I was wearing the most hideous almost flat shoes with extra insoles and it was still agony. I had blood tests done some months later and found I had low B12. I'll never wear stilettos again ( if I ever did) but the burning pain went after B12 treatment.
Pavers in the UK are good. I'm the same with shoes and boots, and clothes
Saddles can be tricky, I found that a regular saddle was very uncomfortable, so I switched to riding sidesaddle. Much more comfortable, more expensive though.
Thank you all so much!! I am having a real bad day alone struggling in my room as usaul i cant even get to go an get food. I will get back to you all . Thank u for your help !! Take care an hopefully i will get back to u all.xx
