It's pretty soul destroying when you have all the tests and they are all negative. Hard to carry on sometimes,I just wait until the brain fog eases and go back to my GP and start all over again. Had Fibromyalgia for 30'years now and am still amazed how little the medical profession know about the multitude of symptoms unless you are asking for pain relief!

I know how you feel.

I have gone from being a very active always on the go person to having to sit and do nothing on the space of 1 year.

I can't get used to the fact that I can't manage to do things the way I used to. 😢

Hi. Saw the question about ears blocked. Yes i get palpitations, and bouts of bad chest pain and migraine too, but also ears when bad too. Feels like ears full of water. Was treated for eustachian tube dysfunction but didnt get better. Always seemed to come on when tired, asdoes other symptoms. Sent to ENT consultant and ear tests: conclusion was it wasmy fibro and later diagnosed with sensory migraines. Chest pain/upper abdomen pain seems to generate back, neck pain and then patchy headaches. Problem is they never check me when bad.

Yes I do....started years ago....take norvasc for itm,and BP. In the eve I'll still get the flippity flop feeling of it between chest and throat.

Also will get strange smells like amonia or bleach after I've put out energy ot effort on something. We get strange things with Fibro.

Hi Annab 124, yes I get palpitations. What you need to remember is that fibromyalgia will attack any muscle in your body. Unfortunately your heart is a muscle. Hope you are feeling okay now.

Best wishes Lou-Lou

Interesting. Forgot heart is a muscle!🤦‍♀️ doh! I have phases of heart racing and it wakes me up at night or stops me falling asleep. I used to think I'd heard something. A burglar trying to break in maybe? and that's why I woke. Whooo hoo! Now I know it's just my beatty heart racing again.

It's weird when it starts because it just keeps happening randomly day and night and then you notice it's not anymore. Dr isn't worried, so I'm not either. It's just irritating as it is another thing that stops me getting proper sleep.

Hi Yes on and of all the time been checked by doctor all ok.

Yes I get episodes of them and they are really scary, it’s like my heart has lost it’s rhythm and they are one after another making me feel light headed.

Had all the investigations done inc 24 hour monitors and they just keep saying they are ectopic beats nothing to worry about but they are very distressing.
