you need to talk to your g.p soonest, gabapen and pregab do not suit everyone, dont just stop them, are you able to take paracetamol? that might settle down this painful outbreak, but see g.p a.sa..p
Hi i rang my gp yesterday explained to the receptionist but still having to wait till next week to see a gp. Is this a flare up of fibromyalgia or a reaction to the pregablin. Thank you for helping me x
could be both hun- but if it gets so out of hand then present at A&E for help of your g.p wont see you sooner. Ive presented twice in 17 years to have pain control sorted that got out of hand, they will take bloods and posssible ct scans and it should get you seen by a rheumatologist or neurologist, g.p receptionist just get on my nerves playing god with us,, ours is known as Cruell de Ville to many.
You need to make an urgent appointment with your GP to discuss your pain and what to do about your medication. Hope the pain eases soon - maybe try a hot water bottle for now until you see the GP x
Unfortunately we are not medically trained so cannot give you advice regarding medications or side effects. You need to ring your surgery to make an appointment and also speak with your local pharmacist about starting this new medication. If your symptoms worsen you will need to telephone 111, visit your local A&E or ring 999 if an emergency.
I do not suffer burning knees during a flare but as your circumstances may be different to mine (ie other conditions etc) I would strongly advise you to seek medical help so a Healthcare Professional can examine you and look at your medical history. I'm afraid all your questions should be directed to those who are qualified to answer them and this I'm afraid cannot be answered here in this community.
Hi, I've been taking Lyrica for the past 10 years. It's great, without it I would have gone mad by now. I had problems with fybromyalgia and experienced pain, restless legs, pins and needles in joints, muscle spasms in legs, etc. After ONE dose, it all went away. 10 years later, I've upped my dosage twice, but it still works great for me. And as my specialist told me...if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
