Does anyone suffer from nausea more a less all the time. My GP has stopped all medication but it hasn’t made any difference. Can anyone advise me on any remedy that has worked for them. Many thanks

Hi ginger biscuits! I don't actually like them, but nibble on them & eat little & often... just like I did when I was pregnant! It's bad enough when meds are causing it, but you've stopped them so that's really weird. Hope it does pass soon🤞🏻

Hi

My Dr put me on prochlorperazine which has worked for me. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

Hi Lynne I do take cyclizine three times a day, but they don't seem to work anymore. I'll ask my dr (if I ever manage to get an appointment with her...) if I can swap. Thank you! x

Hi I suffer with nausea, especially when I've overdone things. GP prescribed prochlorperazine and it helps. Rich tea biscuits seem to help too X

It dpes depend on the medications you are taking. They could be upsetting your stomach if you have not been prescribed a PPI which protects your stomach in such cases. If you are taking a DMARDS such as methotrexate, then you could have the subcutaneous version instead of pills. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.

Don't take any meds now but still have nausea. Mints, ginger biscuits and crystallized ginger help a bit but I'm afraid it is one of the symptoms of fibro. Take care x

Yes, it's horrible. I feel nauseous every day at some time or other.

Someone on here suggested travel sickness tablets and I take one if I feel really awful and gave to go out.

I don't take any prescribed meds so think it's just a part of fibro.

Hello lovely person, yes I get sick most mornings .I also force myself to swim a few times a week and get sick after and nauseous on lots of occasions, Its like being pregnant but I don't take medications anymore as my pain is horrid with or without and anti nausea medications were making me drowsy bit still getting sick.

Smells can have an instant effect on me . Glad Im not the only one x

Thanks for your post ceedy. I have been on this forum for quite a while, but never posted !! However, for the past two years I have been suffering from morning nausea (Im 74, and so Im not pregnant !!!LOL) I am getting quite desperate now, because I have had scans, endoscopy, etc., etc., but nothing shows up. I have read in the replies that it is part of Fibromyalgia, which I have had for 14 years, so if that is so, I have my answer........just grin and bear it !!! Thankyou.

Can anyone throw any light on whether morning nausea is part of M. E. / Fibromyalgia or not ? Getting desperate now !!!!

Hi Ceedy. I think it's a part of fibromyalgia as I've had it for years now. What helps me are Twinings lemon and ginger tea bags. Warm wishes 😽
