Nausea

Good evening all :)

My worse symptoms at the moment are nausea, headaches, brain fog and exhaustion. I'm unsure if my nausea is fibro related or anemia related. Do many of you suffer with nausea?

Hi Zosie

Yes I had nausea for about 2 years, my rheumy said it was because I wasn't going into a deep sleep, I got a amitriptyline which is also supposed to relive pain, on the pain front it don't do much for me, but it has taken away the nausea (it felt like a hangover but without having a drink)

I would discuss this with your GP and hopefully you can get help with it, its such a horrible feeling

Hi / sorry to hear you're having such a horrible time with nausea :-(

I've never suffered with this associated with Fibro - only after too much fruity cider ;-)

I hope you feel better soon

Regards

Tina

Yes, i get nausea, just a thought, if your sinuses are blocked or infected you`ll get nausea. Similarly if the joint at the very top of your neck is inflamed. These two problems can also contribute to brain fog. Good luck [ (sometimes you have to watch gps, they want to put everything down to fibro.

Thanks everyone. I feel it towards the end of the day when my fatigue is worse. I think it's linked to my anemia, but good to hear your experiences. Thanks for getting back to me :)

Yes I suffer with nausea ... It's not a daily thing but it's regular. I been having it for years ... Times of day vary. I normally feel very exhausted and palpitations too.

I've always just assumed it was connected to my syncope and blood pressure drops

Do you suffer with migraines ? That can cause nausea and sickness

sometimes it is all symptoms of fibro, sometimes tiredness or the med's we're on. It's always worth mentioning it to your gp, there are treatments but ti's better that the gp prescribes it as some can clash with your other med's.

Hi Mary, can you ask for an emergency appointment? You really don't sound well and if your meds are interacting well then you need to see someone fast. Have you tried calling the pharmacy? In my experience pharmacists have much better knowledge than GPs on the drugs and certain combination can causes illness. Give them a call and let us know how you get on. It sounds like you are being very be about this but don't suffer in silence! Take care xoxo

I feel nauseous every morning and very often retch. I was told it's because I have T2 diabetes. Still it's a horrible thing. But I am suffering with vertigo at the moment. Never had it before and it's damn scary!! Terrible nausea with it!! XX
