Now nausea

Seem to be on here constantly over the last few weeks. Reluctant to go to docs, yet again, but had sore tummy for a while now, (?gastritis) hoped it would go away, as enough to deal with all the other pain and stuff at the moment! Does anyone else suffer with it, and what helps, tried gaviscan, but not done much!Take care all! xx

I'm on three different stomach meds for issues including nausea, so can sympathise. I use ginger to help settle my stomach - either in a tea, or just eating a small bit of crystallised ginger xxx

Thank you Lynne. Haven't spoke for a little while. Hope you are keeping well(ish). As you can see I am on the moan again. Note your tummy med, but sounds like a prescription to me (am I wrong). Am trying to avoid docs. if I can for a bit! So many other appts. to keep with hubby and me this week. Will it never end! (Title for a song shall we all join in!) Joke!! I can't sing a note!Wishing you well. xx

Yes, it's prescription only. I had an op a few years ago for herd and hiatus hernia called fundoplication and was told I can't be sick now, I have once or twice but it feels like I'm choking, probably cos my muscles in oesophagus don't work, I always need a drink to get food down. I do feel sick quite a lot, my stomach really hurts as it then has to go down the other day (tmi) Personally, I think you should go to the drs as you don't want to be feeling like this!! Thinking of you. Please take care. Love and hugs Lynne xxxx

I here what you say, but I have had similar before. Think it was about a year ago. To be honest that many appointments over last two years, have lost track. Thinking now I should have kept a record, but didn't. Too late now! Anyway, I ended up having a scan and the only thing they discovered then, was a fatty liver. The doc thought it was gastritis. So thinking it is the same, brought on by stress! Afraid, whatever, it is on the back burner, as that many other things wrong and to deal with over next two or three weeks. I know we are all the same, more or less, but I really do wish I was fit, so that I could deal with essential stuff, without breaking down in tears every other day! Love and hugs back! xx

Busy week this week. Out tomorrow hairdressers, and barbers. DH dementia clinic Tuesday, Free Wed. (up to now). Hosp for ECG monitor Thursday, and return again Friday. Also phsyio Friday. Plus all travelling to and fro. so tiring, especially with DH in tow. In between, checking and trying to obtain medical records/blood test results. When/if get them getting them checked and then arranging thyroid blood test. When get results from that, making appt. with endo. Then keeping appt. (probably about 2 weeks time hopefully). Also in process of attempting to get attendance allowance, but not holding much hope out, but want to read up on it. House insurance renewal. (comparison site.) Purchasing things for home, on line, e.g computer time. Printer ink, plus some other stuff. Some day to day shopping, washing, ironing, cleaning, cooking. In between that, I am keeping an eye on DH, plus I am supposed to pace myself. At least I have done very little this weekend other than get meals, watch tv on and off , a bit of reading and visits on here. Oh, and I did have a lovely long soak in bath! Off to bed now, sleep tight if you can, all of you. Love and hugs. xx

Sadly not. Don't know whether anything will come from DH's dementia assessment tomorrow. Supposed to be social worker to put help in place, in case of emergency, for DH. Unfortunately it seems to be all about DH. Because I look reasonably OK everyone thinks I am fine. Given up attempting to say I am not well, or even mention fibro. as all I get is 'helpful' ideas - take a tablet if you have head pain...... I had one last week, no big deal.........We all have problems, get on with it...........even doc. writes everything off as fibro, and think she has exhausted options on that front. Can't seem to get her to go down any other path, hence now trying myself with thyroid, but getting a bit despondent as everything seems to be such hard work when you are not feeling well. Been looking at a site mentioning endometriosis and links with thyroid and fibromyalgia amongst other things - MS, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus , etc. Scary, as years ago, after hysterectomy for endometriosis and diagnosed hypothyroid did wonder if they were linked; but whatever problems I have had, they have all been looked at in isolation. Enough for now. You certainly have enough on your own plate to contend with. Take care. Try to enjoy your day. Speak again soon. xxxxx
